So last night was the first night I was introduced to AHS (American Horror Story) for anyone that doesn't know, it's a American series that has different episodes and titles where characters change. 

I had heard about this as a few people had mentioned it over the last year or 2 but I wasn't into watching series and the only series I ever got into and watched was Desperate Housewives.

• I gave in and finally watched season 1 of AHS and my oh my, what a show!!! I'm already gripped and halfway through season 1. 

It confused the shit out of me at first. Murder House is brutal. Basically everyone who lived in this house had been killed in a violent way over the years and a new family moved in, the father being a psychiatrist, the daughter self harming and being a rebel and the mother, well she was extremely paranoid and insecure as she recently caught her husband cheating in their bed! 

All the ghosts pass through this house but none of the family members know they are dead which is really intriguing! all this stuff starts happening and you get to see how the past people had died and why they can't leave the house. 

I particularly feel sorry for one young girl who has down syndrome and all she wants is to be a 'pretty girl' and one Halloween she wears a head that's made up with lots of makeup and long hair and goes trick or treating. 

she ends up getting ran over and killed and it's really sad but you still want to watch the next episode to find out what else happens. 

so glad I started watching this!! - I'm hooked already!!
